THEMED WEDDINGS

We design weddings for couples who want to weave their favorite stories — from galaxies far, far away to enchanted forests — into an elegant, one-of-a-kind celebration.

Alternative event design fot the imaginative
Your love story already has its own lore.
We bring it to life — tastefully. Whether you dream of a subtle D&D map seating chart, a dark romantic ballroom that whispers of the Fae courts, or a goth celebration that feels sophisticated, we translate your ideas into timeless design.

Testimonial

I wanted our wedding to be the coolest wedding anyone had ever been to. I feel like Mistyre really understood our vision, it really didn’t take any handholding for her to produce mood boards and drafts that totally encompassed our vision.
The wedding was, in fact, the coolest wedding anyone had ever been to.

Synthwave Wedding

Featured Project
When this couple asked for a wedding that felt less like tradition and more like an experience, I transformed their love of synthwave and retro video games into a fully interactive world. Their guests walked into a mini-synthwave universe—complete with moving walls, staged levels, and neon aesthetics—that turned a typical ceremony into the event of the year.

My name is Mistyre, its nice to meet you!
I'm a designer, big sister, and Pisces-rising.
I left a stable 9–5 in marketing and UX because I was tired of watching brilliant, imaginative people shrink their ideas to fit corporate briefs and Pinterest templates.
I grew up in a house where creativity was survival — poetry on notebook margins, moving furniture to redesign spaces, building photo sets in my living room during lockdown. Now I use those same instincts to help couples turn their inner worlds into something you can walk inside.
My work lives somewhere between Meow Wolf, couture, and community theater with a budget — and I’m on a mission to prove weddings don’t have to be beige, to be beautiful.

CLIENTS
Our Process
You want a day that feels like you—but every venue tour and Pinterest board keeps trying to shove you into a burlap-and-baby’s-breath nightmare.
You’re not asking for much… just a little magic, maybe a cosmic portal entrance, a touch of elven royalty, or at least signs that don’t look copy-pasted from a chalkboard sign at Hobby Lobby.
HERES HOW WE'LL GET THERE

This is where we crack open the universe inside your head. You spill everything—your fandoms, aesthetics, love story, everything in your saved IG folder, and that one idea you’re scared to say out loud.
I listen, ask all the right questions (“Is this more celestial-forest or neon-dystopian carnival?”), and translate your thoughts into an initial concept and moodboard.

Once the vision is locked, we turn fantasy into a master plan. This includes a full design blueprint: visual renderings, color palettes, custom props or set builds, vendor sourcing, budget alignment, and a timeline that keeps everything on track.
You’ll know exactly what’s happening, what it costs, and how it all fits together. Approvals, revisions, and “can we add a dragon?” ideas all happen here.

You relax. We go into full-production mode. We'll coordinate vendors, builds installations, style every table, set every light, and makes sure your ceremony feels like stepping through a portal. On the day-of, we’re there before sunrise and gone after the last petal falls—so all you have to do is exist in your world, fully and unapologetically.
Just magic—done for you.

You truly brought our concept to life in a way that no one else could — you've stuck with us through many changes and rounds of feedback and still fully delivered on the vision. I had someone tell me they've been to many events...and they've never seen the space look that great. Truly a testament to your creativity, vision, attention to detail and hard work!

FAQs
That’s more than enough. Send me your chaotic mix of mushrooms, LED moons, and Zendaya’s Met Gala cape. I’ll organize it into a design plan, visual mockups, sourcing list, and build schedule. You don’t need to know where to rent fog machines or find someone who can weld an art altar — that’s my lane.
Hard pass. That’s the difference between “theme party” and “immersive design.” We use lighting, texture, layout, sound, and custom builds to make sure your world feels intentional — not Party City. Think: ethereal forest ceremony, not plastic vines; moody Gotham rooftop, not bat-symbol confetti.
Real talk? Custom installations, fabrications, and immersive design aren’t DIY projects — but they also don’t have to drain your life savings. I have a flat fee that covers our planning sessions, and from there we work with your budget and design. I’ll tell you what to splurge on (lighting, environment, key moments) and what to skip (chairs nobody remembers). No surprise invoices. No “just trust me."
Look-- at the end of the day its your day, but I want the mother-of-the-bride to be happy too! We can design your wedding to have “layers”: ceremony elegant enough for grandparents, reception wild enough for your inner dungeon master. Want to make your elements more subtle? Or give grandma a potion bottle table assignment without her knowing it’s from Skyrim? Done.
Absolutely. With the right lighting, layout, and storytelling even a lightsaber duel can feel poetic. Our whole thing is making people say, “I don’t even like fantasy but... this is stunning."
Nope. Not even a little. If you’ve googled “Is it too much to have a fog doorway?” or “Would a D&D officiant be cringe?” you’re in the right place.
Yes—this is actually where themed design shines! Bold, cohesive theming distracts from venue limitations. We're experts at transforming budget venues with: dramatic fabric draping, statement lighting, large-scale decorative elements, and cohesive color stories.
We offer two packages based on how hands-on you want to be:
Do It With You Package or A Full Build Package. I can discuss both with you during your consultation!
I love a good DIY-- its how I got my start. But as a DIY-er I've realize that what I save in money, I spend double that in time. Where people get in trouble is not factoring in the cost of mistakes, tools/supplies you don't own, and the value of their time. At the end of the day, this is your one wedding day and you have a lot of unknowns you're already juggling, so think carefully. We can help you do a realistic cost-benefit analysis and we also offer "hybrid" options.
We also do corporate and college events.
